My first paid voice over job was an admissions promo for SUNY Albany many years ago when I was a student there. I knew then that I wanted to be a working voice actor. Along the way, I received a degree in Communications from SUNY Albany, an MFA in acting from NYU Tisch School of the Arts (where I focused on character work and singing) and a law degree from Brooklyn Law School. In addition to my voice over work, I practice Social Security Disability Law in New York City. My educational and work background has provided training and experience that is very useful to a working voice actor.
I use Audacity and Reaper, and currently have a small studio set-up in my apartment. My equipment includes: a computer, a laptop, an Audio-Technica AT2035 mic as well as a Shure SM7B microphone and a cloudlifter CL-1 Nic Activator, Komplete Audio 6 interface, Sennheiser HD 280 Pro headphones. I also use Izotope RX3 as needed for audio editing. Please take a moment to listen to my Narration demo. More examples of my work will follow.
Do not hesitate to contact me via phone or email if you would like more information. Thanks.
